Fairwhether is an independent design studio founded in 2008 by Jonathan Burkett, specializing in print, branding and art direction in both analog and digital mediums.

Focused around three beliefs: content drives form, every project is one to be proud of, and every studio needs a strong philanthropic philosophy; we believe these three things lead to a great studio that establishes successful, supportive, and growing relationships with clients. Hoping to find their own path in the design world, Fairwhether looks to lasting and strong partnerships that will allow all brands to flourish.

Prior to the foundation of Fairwhether, Jonathan graduated from California College of the Arts (neé CCAC) with a BFA in Design with Honors. Following a short time in Berlin, he worked as a designer for international agencies ATTIK and AKQA, designing for print and web while working on a variety of internal external projects*. Such clients as AOL, Lexus, Yaris and Scion of Toyota, Boost Mobile, Target, Adidas, LG Electronics, UNESCO, Rojo Revista, V2 Records, and a number of small independent brands. In 2008, Jonathan returned to Berlin to focus on developing this new studio and creating new projects and relationships.

Currently, Fairwhether is searching for the next opportunity and collaboration with a client. Able to travel and work across a broad range of locations and mediums, there are no limitations to the possibilities in projects.
